The Hippie Bracelet is a riot of color and joy from clasp to clasp — and every bit of that color was mixed and painted by hand in the studio. Each flower charm on this bracelet is individually hand painted by artist Dea Shelton using mica powders she mixes herself to match the illustration palette and crystal colors — a process rooted in decades of professional color theory and fine art training. No two batches are identical. The flowers are then sealed with resin for lasting color that holds through years of daily wear. Over 30 pieces fill the chain — hand painted flowers in yellow, orange, red, purple, green and teal, alongside vintage style illustrations set under glass including a rainbow peace sign, a flower child woman crowned in blooms, a guitar explosion of color, a yin yang rainbow, and a dreamcatcher. Silver charms include a guitar, a jukebox and a streetcar. Engraved charms carry the language of the era — Groovy, Peace, Woodstock 1969, Make Love Not War, It's a Good Day, and Party On. Topaz and amethyst Austrian crystals complete the chain. Remarkably lightweight for all the color it carries.
